Dog clothes aren’t just for the Paris Hilton dog. Many big dogs need clothing and if it’s not a need – they still look adorable wearing a T-shirt or dog rain jacket.

Large breed dog clothes are getting more popular for the family pet. I’ve taken my dogs to nursing homes dressed in Halloween dog costumes, dressed in cute dog t shirts and even wearing Easter bunny costumes.

Dogs that live in extreme winters need dog snow boots to protect their feet from ice and salt that has been put down to melt the ice.

Sweaters for large dogs are great, especially if your dog is a Great Dane or similar breed that doesn’t have a fur coat or body fat. Best for the really cold days will be polar fleece coats for dogs.

Yes dog’s can swim but what if something happens and your dog can’t make it back to shore?

Make it extra special and get him some dog goggles.

Many of them work great as doggy sunglasses. Hats for dogs come in a very big range of styles, colors and sizes. The hats have openings for the ears so they stay on and are comfortable.

Military working dogs might wear a dog protective vest. Bullet proof vests for police dogs are used to protect the working dog.

Always make sure you use a dog hunting vest so your hunting dog can be easily seen in the woods.

Therapy Dog Clothing
Service dogs vest – therapy capes are common with therapy dogs. All therapy trained dogs wear some kind of therapy dog vest.
Some have badges proudly sewn on their dog vests.

Walking dogs at night
Reflective dog collars and a reflective dog vest are great for the dog to be easily seen at night.
You can even outfit your dog with a tummy saver reflective dog vest.
A dog vest with d ring is good for hooking on a reflective leash.
